Virtual Birth Support

Virtual Birth Support

Virtual birth doulas help expectant parents prepare for a hospital birth with expert guidance, emotional support, and provide real-time help during labor.

Not Sure Where to Begin?

Preparing for a hospital birth involves more than packing a bag and waiting for contractions to start. Hospitals have routines, policies, and decision points that can feel confusing in the moment. Virtual birth support helps you understand what to expect, prepare for labor, and have experienced guidance available when questions or decisions arise.

If you’re wondering whether a  virtual birth doula’s support would be helpful for you, schedule a free consultation and we can talk through your plans for birth and you can learn how an experienced doula can guide you, on the phone or through text, when you or your support team need help.

Virtual Interview (Free)

A free 30-minute virtual meeting to ask questions, explore your options, and find the right level of support for you with no pressure, and no judgment.

There is a $20 fee to hold the space. The $20 will be refunded after we meet.

Introductory Class

A 90-minute to 2-hour session covering pregnancy, birth, and newborn care. This first class helps you decide if we’re the right fit and sets the foundation for your birth journey.

You will learn about the Bishop’s Score and avoiding unnecessary inductions.

Virtual Childbirth Preparation Classes

Once you’ve completed the Introductory Class, we can move on to the complete series. These three (3) additional sessions, about 5 to 6 hours of one-on-one live, virtual childbirth education will educate you on how to have a safe, comfortable birthing experience.

Link to schedule these classes will be sent to you after completion of the Intoductory Class.

Virtual Doula Support During Labor

Even if your hospital limits how many people can be in the delivery room, you can still have an experienced doula supporting you virtually. Virtual birth support provides reassurance, guidance, and evidence-based strategies to help you navigate labor and hospital routines with greater confidence.

A virtual birth doula helps you:

Preparation Makes Labor Easier to Navigate

Virtual Birth Support begins long before labor starts. During pregnancy, we prepare for the realities of hospital birth so you understand how labor typically unfolds and what decisions may arise along the way.

When labor begins, you have experienced guidance available in real time. Whether you need reassurance, help thinking through options, or practical suggestions for comfort, you will not have to navigate those moments alone.

Fully comprehensive — no additional classes needed except Infant CPR
Taught 1-on-1 for tailored guidance
Includes relaxation, hospital navigation, and birth plan support

Continuous, Virtual Birth Support From Anywhere

When the big day arrives, your virtual doula is just a message or call away. Get ongoing reassurance and expert guidance through every stage of labor, no matter where you’re located.

There is a flat rate of $1,000 for unlimited virtual labor support after you’ve completed all four childbirth classes. If you have not completed the childbirth classes, there is an additional charge of $500 because you will be unprepared and require much more virtual support to make up for the missed classes. It’s better, and less expensive, to be prepared ahead of time.

Need In-Person Birth Support? We offer the Perfect Balance of Experience and Support

Our Best of Both Worlds program combines the skill of an experienced doula with the energy of a newer, specially trained doula. Your hands-on doula will provide in-person care, while a senior doula like tracy hartley offers unlimited virtual guidance during labor.

If you’re not in the greater Los Angeles area, one of our very experienced doulas can work with the local doula of your choice, who can attend the classes with you and your partner.
